The Cities of the World and the Future of the Metropolis
The 17th Triennale di Milano, which focuses on the metropolis in all its complexity, is preceded by a series of preparatory exhibitions held between 1983 and 1988. The sprawl of capital cities in developing countries is seen as a vantage point on the world from which to reflect on the very future of the city as a form.
